Cookie notice
This notice explains the cookies and similar storage Katalock uses, why, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep information on your device in the same way.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Set by | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Katalock (Supabase) | Keeps you signed in. | Until you sign out (refreshed) |
| kat_anon | Katalock | A random ID that applies the free-use limit fairly to visitors who are not signed in. Not used for ads or tracking. | 12 months |
| kat_oauth_*, kat_pkce_* | Katalock | Protects the sign-in when you connect an app (Gmail, Google Drive and others). | 10 minutes |
| kat_consent | Katalock | Remembers your cookie choices. | 12 months |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention on Stripe's payment page, only when you pay. | Up to 12 months |
Katalock does not use analytics or advertising cookies today, and no third party tracks you across sites through Katalock. If that changes, those cookies will only load after you allow them, and this notice will list them.
Storage on your device
Katalock also keeps some things in your browser's local storage so features work: your language, theme and sidebar layout, chats you started before signing in, drafts and the characters you saved. This stays on your device and is not used for tracking. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Your choices
Use the button below, or "Cookie settings" in the footer, to change what you allow. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and payments from working.
